Dear Students and Parents,

Welcome to 4th grade! I already know we are going to have an AMAZING year of growing and learning together. My name is Mrs. Head, and I am so excited to be your fourth-grade teacher. Here is just a little bit about me… This is my third year teaching at Cheatham Hill. Prior to this, I was a science and ELA teacher for 7 years at Griffin Middle School in Smyrna. I graduated from The University of Georgia and continued to pursue a masters degree from Grand Canyon University, and then an educational specialist degree from Lincoln Memorial University. I live in our community with my husband, Justin, and my sons Henry and Frank (4th grader and 1st grader here at CHES). As a family we like to take walks around our neighborhood, go on hikes around local trails, swim, play games, have dance parties, and watch movies together. I am looking forward to know more about what you like to do and what your personality is like!

I am beyond excited to get to know you and spend every day with you in 4th grade! This will definitely be an exciting year filled with fieldtrips, experiments, games, fun, and learning! I can’t wait to see you Monday morning.
